Did you know that due to COVID-19, Physical Therapists were granted emergency providers of Telehealth?

Did you know the Federal Government temporarily lifted restrictions on how to access your Physical Therapist?

Here are the Top 5 Reasons Early Intervention and Telehealth go together like peas and carrots.

1.) Early Intervention in PA already uses a family coaching model.

2.) Early Intervention already occurs in the child’s natural environment.

3.) The Federal Government temporarily eased the forum where Telehealth visits occur. You can now use FaceTime, Basic Zoom, etc. This makes it very convenient for families to participate.

4.) Sessions can occur whenever is agreeable between the family and therapist. Sessions can even take place on evenings and weekends!

5.) Early Intervention is still free in PA!

Please contact your Health Provider if you have concerns regarding your child’s development.
